By His Excellency Sir George Grey, Knight Commander of the most Honorable Order of the Bath, Governor and Com- : - mander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand, and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same, &c., &c, &c. WHEREAS by the "Arms Act, 1860,'j it is enacted that it 3hall be lawful for the Governor by Proclamation published in the New Zealand Gazette from time to time to declare what articles shall b 9 considered as warlike stores for the purposes of the said Act and also for the purposes of an Ordinance of the Lieutenant Governor and Legislative Council of New Zealand passed in the sixth session of the said Council intituled "An Qrdinance to fjempower the Governor of New Zealand to regulate the Importation and sale of Arms, Gunpowder and other Warlike stores." Now therefore I Sir George Grey the Governor of the said Colony in pursuance and exercise of the said power and authority do hereby proclaim and declare that the undermentioned articles shall (amongst others) be considered as Warlike B tores for the purposes above mentioned that is to say : — Firearms of every description, Accoutrements for such arms, •-■■ i Gunpowder of every description in cartridge or, otherise, Percussion caps, Flints, Lead, Zinoand copper, manufactured or otherwise,
