AUCKLAND LIVE STOCK MARKET.
Messrs. Stayk and Hunter's Keport : Horses. — There was a very fair show of useful horses on Saturday, and during the week there were more transactions than usuaL We sold heavy draught at £40 to £48 ; superior saddle at £30 to £47 10s ; and 16 inferior at prices from £6 5s to £21. .Fat Cattle.— A full supply. Prices scarcely so high as the previous week. We Bold at Newmarket 30 of the Napier lot at an average of £13 ss. At Otahuhu we sold lots of well fatted bullocks at £11 15s, £12 15s, £13, and £14 15s. Fat Sheep. — Very scarce, and those in very inferior. This prices were 20s 6d to 235. Dairy and Store Cattle. — There waa a decided falling off in the prices in both these classes, and there were really no good dairy cows offered. Store cows, £8 5s to £11 12s 6d; heifers, £3 17s 6d to £6 15s ; daily cows, £10 5s to £12 ss. Store Sheep.— None in the market. Fat Pigs.— As usual sold high.
