SHIPPING.
The Wonga Wonga left Auckland on Thursday, the 23rd inst., at 1 p.m., arrived at Rangatikia, East Cape, on" Friday, at 7.30 p.m., but was unable to communicate with the shore till daylight, and was detained there 17 hours. On Saturday morning she took on board Mr. Baker (Resident Magistrate) and family; DrWright, and servants, and sailed for Napier, where she arrived on Sunday morning' last. Left Napier at 4 p.m., on Monday, arrived at Castle Point at 7 a.m. on Tuesday ; sailed again at 9.30 am., and arrived in this harbour at 11 p.m. same day. She has experienced fair weather during the whole of the passage fiom Auckland. The Airedale arrived at Manakau on the 22nd instant. The Portland, from London, arrived at Auckland on the 22nd, with 72 second cabin passengers, after a fine run of 82 days. The Wonga passed her off the East Cape on the 20th, on her upward trip.
