Messrs Duncan & Vennell sold on "Wednesday last for Mesßrs Johnston & Co, a variety of goods for which the following prices were realised:—Negrohead tobacco, 4s to 4s lOd per Ibjwoodrows, 10tt» boxes, at ls 4d perlb; cigars, 55s per 1000; sherry in hhds, 7s per gallon; Belmont sperm candles, ls 3d per lb; Belmont candles, Is ld per Ib; Neva candles, ls ld per lb; and a quantity of boots at a fair margin above invoice prices. 1
