WELLINGTON LIVE STOCK MARKET.

G. H. Luxfokd & Go's Report for the week ending May 15, 1863. The export of cattle during the past week has been but trifling, no, does the disposition to enter into this trade where the chances are all against the shipper, appear likely to increase. The Tyra has loaded and sailed with ISO head of mixed cattle for Mr Alexander, and the Jenny Payne 1b also gone with a full cargo, both for Southern Ports. The other cattle ships the Glenshee, Margarethaßoesner, Empress of India and Gazelle, are waiting for cargoes. Cattle still come in, in spite of the Blackening demand and the large herds on hand, and about 600 have reacheb Wellington since our last report ilz— 24o from the West Coast, Alexander and McETelvie's lots ; 240 from Welsh's station, Wairarapa: 30 fat beasts from Scott's, Bangitikeij with 120 head on the road from Gillies's station. Stoke Cattle remain at former rates, holders being diainclinod to submit to any further reduction on a figure that is already sufficiently low. It will pay them better to fatten for home consumption. Fat Cattle the lot from Scott's fetched 3J from which rate there is no prospect of a decline during the winter. Fat Calves are fetching 20s to 30a each. Fat Sheep— The butchers are well supplied, and although prices still maintain their former rates, there are several lots in the market uibolc?. Lahbs are readily fetching 16s to 18s. Stores— A small flock of stores are on there way in from Beetham's run. Price remains at former quotations, Ewes dull— the last news put a damper on all transactions in breeding Stock except for export G. EL Luxford & Co.
