I ISAAC EARL FKATHERSTON, • Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, do hereby proclaim and notify that the several blocks of land enumerated in the Schedule hereunto annexed, except any reserves therein mentioned, will be open for purchase and selection at tbe Crown Land Office, Wellington, on and after Wednesday the fifteenth day of April 1863, under the Land Regulations of the fourth day of March, 1553 and the Additional Land Regulations of the fifteenth day of February 1855, Given uxider my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the L.S. Waiuarapa District. Taheke Block. Containing about 1,500 acres. The boundary commences at the lands sold by Milai Poneke, running downwards in the River Ruamahanga on to Taheke, bends ihere and goes on to Nga Kiori, from Nga Kiori going on to the River Wukaehu and on to Te Matau, onwards to Te Ta'wai, to Te Kotenga Poronui, to Te Mairi, and to the River Waiohai, along the River Waiohai up to the boundary of Maitai Poneke's sale on to Te Kunenga, and joins the Ruamahanga. Te Whiti Block. Containing about 640 acresBounded North by Native knd. East by tbe Taueru River, South by Hamuera's Reserve of 156 acres, and West by the Ruamahanga River and by native land. Wangaehu Block. Containing about 450 acres. These are the boundaries of the land commencing at the Papa o te Watabi and on to tbe Umu Karuka, following thence the couise of the Wangaehu to the Whareotewenga, and to the tree known, as the Arawhata, thence to tbe Roto ate Po, and thence to the Kowara a tane, here joining the boundary of the land sold to the Queen, it follows that boundary on to Titai a perauga to the Waitapu and to Hakakaia, thence to Ruakinui, and from thence to the Owaki, here it'follows the course of the Waheanui to the Kopua a Mahina, from thence to Tata, and following the couise of the Ruumahanga on to the Pohue ford) and from thence »o Tutangatakino where the boundaries close. Arama Karaka's Pahaua Block. Containing about 3,900 acres. Tbe boundary commences at the mouth of the river Ngakonui at Pahaua, aloug by Puhaua up to the mouth of the river Wainuioru, straight along by the river to Wainuioru and liarakaikatoa on to the mouth of the Puopuatapatu, on to Ngaawapurua, along Ngaawapurua to the survey lino, aloug the Jine to the source o( Ngakonui, from thence by the river on to Pahaua and joins there. Taueru Block, adjoining Te Whiti. Containing about 1500 acres, The boundary at the South end commencing at the mouth of Taueru River, follows the river upwards to the boundary of a Native Reserve of 156 acres belong ing to Hamueia, bends there and crosses over to the Ruamahanga River at the boundary of Hamuera's land purchased from the Crown, bends there and t runs down the Ruamahuuga Southward, and terminates at the mouth of the Taueru. Kahutara Bush Block and Otumanga. Block. Containing about 900 acres. Is bouuded on the North East by Native laud, South East by the Ruamahauga River and Native land, South and' South West by Native land, and North West by the Kahutara Block. East Coast District. Whawhanui Reserve. Containing about 1000 acres. Commencing at Wilikaupeka on to Te Ranga going along on the Ohiranga to Taun?.&ta o te Hapunga, then going Southwards to lierekuri, along the Herokuri to Wakahanui, along in the Wakahuuui aud joining (or ending) at Witikaupeka. .
