Woodward v Beat— Debt £63 0s Bd, owing by the defendant to the Provincial Government of Wellington on five promissory notes, dated London, 15th September, 1856, payable on demand to the Provincial Treasurer of Wellington, for the passage of himself, wife, two sons , and one daughter from London to Wellington. Defendant consented to a judgment for the amount claimed and costs 3s. Execution deferred to the Ist of September, J 803, except the defendant should be about to leave the district.

Barnes — Drunkenness ; fined 10s. Crowther — Drunkenness ; reprimanded and discharged. Slark — Drunkenness ; committed for 7 days.
