LYTTELTON.
A fire occured at Lyttelton on the 10th inst , eausiug the total destructiou of Messrs Hail, Ritchie & Cos., warehouse.
. The nomination of the new Superintendent is to take place ou sth March. If a poll is demanded, it will be taken oil the ,20th of the same month. Mr J. Ollivier is likely to be elected.
Sheep are quoted at froin29s.to.3ls. per head Store cattle, £9 to £9 9s. Fat cattle, 40s. to 455. per lOOlbs. Flour in 2001 b bags, £14 per ton.
