The French budget shows a deficit for the present year of thirty-five million frano3.
The cost, for 1862, of the Mexican expedition, is estimated at £3,500,000 sterling.
For 1863, M. Fould estimates a surplus of one hundred and ten millions;
The French journals represent the Mexicans as being favourable to Freuch intervention in Mexico.
