Horses. — The market is now suffering from a plethora of imporled stock, the late large arrivals having materially affected prices ; this depression, however, we anticipate, will only be temporary, as the' class of horses most in demand are not iv the shipmeuts which are now hourly expected In port; heavy draught horees are still in request, but we find it difficult to place them, from ihe fact that the lighter description of stock bave a downward teudency. We have dispofied of during the week several small lots ex the Joshua Bates, Alice Thorndike, Eleonora, Hargraves and Omeo at fair prices. Our quotations are as follows, viz : — Heavy draught horses from £65 to £90, (one very fine mare realized £105) ; second olass ditto irom £80 to £.'JS ; good B> rong upstanding light harness horses wiil fetch from £30 to £40, and middling hacks from £20 and upwards. 1 We haye a eecond draft from the Omeo for sale on Monddy next, whioh we think will fetch satisfaciory prices.
