Wellington. 18th December, 1882. fTpENDERS (in duplioate) will be received at X this Office, until noon of Thursday, the Bth January, 1863, from persons willing to contract for furnishing the undermentioned supplies; in such quantities, and at such times and places within the town of Wellington, as may be directed by the undersigned, or by his successor in office, during the twelve calendar months, commencing the Ist of April next, viz : — Fresh meat, per lb Fresh bread, per lb Groceries, per ration Forage for horses, per ration Coal, per ton Composite candles, per lb Mould candles, per lb HOSPITAL SUPPLIES. Fresh meat, fine bread, flour, arrowroot, sago, rice,' pearl barley, tea, coffee, sugar, oatmeal, black lead, whiting, blacking, salt, pepper, mustard, fresh butter, potatoes, mixed vegetables, soap, soda, size, preserved meats and soups, linseed meal, fish, at per lb each, eggs, per doz., fowls j each, bath bricks, each, milk, vinegar, lime juice, at per Imperial pint, jelly per pint, English porter and ale", sherry, port wine, brandy, whisky, rum, and gin per bottle, lemonade and soda water, per doz, oranges and lemons, each. PRISON SUPPLIES. The accounts of Contractors, for Military Store, Engineer, Barrack, and Purveyors Services, are not to be paid, until' they have been sent to Head Quarters, for the examination and signature of the Head of- the Department. No Tender will be accepted unless upon the printed form, furnished from ibis office, and duly signed by the Contractor and two sureties. .
