London September 26. Money market during month remained generally easy ; minimum rate discount 2 per cent. ; little doing in stock or share markets. Colonial securities maintain previous favourable position. Consols for money, 93f ; ditto for account, 93 J; Colonial Government debentures, New South Wales, 5 per cent., 1866, 101 to 102; Victorian, 6. per cent, April and October, 109| to 110J; half-yearly dividend Bank of England, 4;V per cent, free of income tax. Exports to Melbourne for month shows a decrease £112.065 on previous month, arising from uniform deoline of most articles of ships raent. Shipments of tobaoco about same alast mouth. Exports to Sydney, £246,088, against £345,386 in July-August. Decrease, £99,298. The same average reduction pervades as mentioned, to Melbourne report. Shipments of tobacco almost identical with last month.
