THE attention of the Public is sailed to the following clause of " The Slaughter House Oct' 1862 " ; instructions having been given to the Inspector of Police io enforce the same. J. No Cattle intended for slaughter shall be driven tbrough or in the Town of Wellington between the hours of Nine in the morning and six in the evening, between the 31st day of March and the Ist day of September, or between tbe hours of Eight in the morning and Nine in tbe evening be- , tween the Slat day of August and lat day of April, and every person so driving cattle intended for' slaughter between the prohibited hours shall pay a penalty of one pound per head for every head of Cattle ao driven.
