TOWN AND COUNTRY LANDS. SHEEP, CATTLeTaND HORSES. FOR SALE, BY PBIVATE CONTRACT. Ist. That valuable Town Acre, No. 96, situated in Abel Smith Street, Wellington, adjoining the residence of Mr. Hickson, fenced in with a close fence and having a small building erected thereon. This acre is admirably adapted for the erection of a gentleman's private residence, being in an elevated position and commanding a fine view of the harbor and shipping. 2nd. WILLIAM HICKSON, 8b Co, will sell by Public Auction, at their Stores, Te Aro, on Friday, the 28th November next, the undermentioned valuable Preehold Pnpeities, situated in the centre of the businees portion of the City of Wellington ; and adjacent to tbe Banks, Custom House, and Post office. First — The piece ot Land in the rear of the Ship Hotel, in Manners-street; having tt cart road entrance from thiit Street; and also from Willisstreet, adjoining Mr. Port's grocery establishment. There is a strongly built More, two stones high on the Land capable of holdiug 500 tons of goods ; also, an Office and Shed. Ihe whole is enclosed by a strong close fence, ten feet high. This property was recently occupied by H. M,. Government as a Commissariat Store. Second — The piece of Land fronting to Willisstreet, extending from the premises lately occupied as Ordnance and Engineer Offices, up to Mr. Port's, grocery establishment. The Land is held on Lease for Twenty -one years, from the 25th April, 1853, at the moderate rental of thirty pounds per annum, with the power of renewal for twenty one years more. There is a Garden, a Public Pound, a large Stock Yard, capable of holding 100 head of Cattle ; also two Stables, one of which has two Loose Bo ces.
