RANGITIKEI.
The Roads. — Tho Provincial Surveyor, Mr, Hogg, has been engaged in marking off the main line of road, and it is to be hoped its formation will be proceeded with before emigration to the south leaves the country without hands during tho summer mouths. Episcopalian Church. — Tha inhabitants ot Upper Bangitikei have guaranteed the sum of £i DO a year for three years for the services of a clergyman, besides the sura of £100, if require^ in payment of his passage. The standing committee of the Wellington Synod have reneweil their guarantee of £h0 a year for three years, and" the Bishop haa written to England to obtain the services of a clergyman, whom' he expects itt autumn. - The sum of £10 has been granted by tha Standing Conunittee towards tho Native Church at Parawenui.
