AT A MEETING of the Representatives of the different Fire Insurance Companies doing business in this City it was Resolved — That Paraffin and refined Petroleum Oil, Kerosine and Carbon Oil, and all Oil manufactured from Coal, Rock, or Earth Oil be classed as " extra hazardous,' 1 and charged as sueh — Resolved 1st — That the extra rate on dealers and shops retailing any of the above, or similar Oils, be os. per cent — 2. — That the extra rate on stores, shops, or Public Buildings lighting at night be os. per cent — 3. — That the extra rate on wholesale dealers selling only by original package be 2s. Cd. per cent— Resolved — That the buildings containing the articles above enumerated and the contents thereof be charged the same ratgs — Resolved — That not more than fifty gallons of any of these Oils be kept or stored on any premises unless the same is specially allowed on the Policy.
