SUPERINTENDENT'S NOMINATION BILL.
This measure, ihe theme of so much recent discussion, a fier passing; through the trying ordeal ot a second reading, and the searching criticism of a Committee, has at last been quashed. On Thursday evening, Mr. Fitzgavald moved, that it be reported, when Major ' Richardson at puce proposed as an amendment, " That this Bill he discharged from the order ' paper."
