WELLINGTON, 13^ August, 1862. [BEFOBE HENBY ST. HILL, ESQ., B. M.] McKinnon v; Harper. Debt £22 13s. 4d» This was an action to recover the said sum being seamen's wages earned on board the late White JSwan. Judgment for amount subject to being impounded to wait for an account alleged to be due to the owners of the said vessel. Thursday 14th, August, 1862. Anderson v. Luxford. — Debt £l 2s. lid Settled by consent. Wiliiams v. Wise. — This was an action to recover £20 damages sustained by plaintiff ir. consequence of defendant having kept plaintiff's horse, and while in his possession the said borse died. Adjourned to the I9ih instant. Turnbull v. Wall, (adjourned case.) Debt £8 2>. Parties called, no appearance. Thomas Messer, charged with drunkeness. Fined 20s. Uth August, 1862. [Before Henby St. Hill, Esq, R. M.] Turnbull v. Wall, (adjourned case.) Debt £8 2s. Ofi. Amount and costs paid into Court. John Doran v. James Thomas Valentine, an information was filed against defendant, for permitting his chimney lo catch fire. Fined ds. and costs lis. 6d. Joseph Lanmas was charged with assaulting Alex. Schultze. Fine ss. and costs lis. 6d.
