The latter flock ascends from the royal flock of Lohmen, both of Saxony. Ihe average weight of clean-washed Wool of fall- grown animals is four pounds for a Ewe, and fully seven pounds for a Ram. The selection was made with due regard to head and legs being woolled, as well as to the loseness and fineness of staple, as much as this could be combined.
