THE Wellington Independent. Tuesday, July 15, 1862. TO OUR SUBSCRIBERS ANF THE PUBLIC.
With an anxious desire to afford increased facilities for keeping the public fully informed of the proceedings in the General Assembly, #c have determined to issue the Independent three times a week, viz., on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings, without extra charge to subscribers. We take the opportunity of thanking our subscribers for the support bestowed during a period of 17 years, throughout the whole of *shieh period our circulatiou has exceeded tbat of any other newspaper in the province, and now more than doubles either of our cotemporaries. As the publication three times a week increases our expenses, we confidently rely on our friends supporting us as far as they possibly can ; and need hardly say, that in return we shall do all in our power to advance the interests of the Province.
