Wellington Ckicket Club' — We undeistaud that the annual dinner of this Club, will take place on Saturday next, the 31st inst., a Mr. Downes' Crown and Anchor Hotel, at 6 o'clock, and being the first Annual Dinner, we anticipate that there will be a large attendance The s.s. Wonga Wouga, Captain Renner, sailed for Wanganui yesterday, at 2 p. 01. We understand that she has been chartered to proceed to Manakau, and that she will loi»d cattle at Wanganui for the Auckiaud market. The Wonga is expected to return here about the 7th inst., and will sail for Picton and Nelson on the Bth inst. The s.a. Storm Bird, Capt. Muddle, sailed yesterday, at 4 p.m , for Ahuriri and Castle Point, She is expected to return on Sunday morning next, and will sail on Wednesday, the 4th June, for Dunedin direct.
