THE Pro\incial Council having appointed a Committee to receive any claims to Compensation which might have been preferred under the Act ol Counoil, Session 3, No 12, but which owing to accident, ignorance, or other cause, were not sent in, or not adjudicated upon within the prescribed time, and to repori thereon in detail to the Council, all persons having such claims are requested to send them in on or before Tuesday, the 20th iust., to "the Chairman of the Compensation Committee," Council Chamber, Wellington. Particular notice is requested to the terms of this notice, as no claims 'which have been before preferred and reported , upon by the late Commissioners will be received.
