TO FLOCKOWNERS. fT^HE Undersigned beg to acquaint Sheep Far X users and 0 ihers that they expect to receive by the " Blanche," from London, a shipment 01 Pure Blood Saxon (not Mecklenberg) Merinc Rams and Ewes direct from the Breeders, which they are instructed to offer for sale. These Sheer, are selected from pure Saxon Electoral aud Escu rial, Negretti Flocks noted for Wool of long, fine, close and even staple, that have repeatedly had Prizes awarded them at the Agricultural Exhibition* at Berlin, Dresden, Leipzig, Munich and other places. They are descended from the celebratet sheep of Rothshonberg, the Royal Flock of Lohmen and the flock of his Excellency President of Crosigk, — all of Saxony. — The Shippers are desirous to introduce to New Zealand (and of continning to do so), the pure Saxon Meriuo, that for 30 years past they have been sending to Australia and the Cape, so that Flockowners may observe the superiority of this Breed of Sheep to that of any oiher : as it is an established fact, known to all wooi dealers and manufacturers iv Great Britain and elsewhere that the wool of first clpss Saxon flocks always realizes higher prices than wool from .any Mecklenbebg flock whatever. The Undersigned are authorised to state that the average weight of washed wool shorn of the flocks irom which the selections have been made, is 4 lbs, for Ewes and fully 7 lbs. for Rams ; they are alsc in possession of samples of the s Wool aud Photographs of the animals, and will be glad to furnisl nteuding purchasers with full-particulars.
