Bullock and Walker's steam saw-mill, which will necessitate the stoppage of the works until the damaged paTts can be replaced from Melbourne. There were considerable orders on hand at the time. Tbe Flying Cloud, schooner, Captain Simpson, came in on Saturday, 15th ult, loaded with 32,000 feet of timber, sailed for Dunedin on the 24th. Mr. Gallon's saw-mill continues in full work, and sends fortnightly supplies for the Invercargill market, by the Hawkhead, schooner, B. Lowry, Ballantyne master. Mr. Harrold's Fishery is now in active and successful operation. Several tons of fine fish have been caught and prepared for the Duaedin market, and the quality is said to be of the first description. Mr. Harrold (who is an old Orknejman or Shetland) is ateo preparing a quantity of fish for the Invercargill market, and for Australian consumption. Messrs. Simpson and Stewart, who have purchased the Fly cutter, have, we hear, been supplying the people of Riverton with oysters.
