The last escort brought down 7,800 ozs. from Tuakepa, 700 ozs. from VVaipuri, and 1,111 ozs. from Wuitahuna, the total being 9,611 ozs. Large numbers of passengers were leaving Otago for Coromandel diggings. , The Canterbury sailed for Auckland on the 13th instant, with 53 passengers, and several vessels had preceded her, crowded with passengers. The Lady Bird sailed from Otago for Melbourne on the 13th instant, with 825 ozs. 17 dwts. of gold, and a number of passengers.
