OTAGO.
By the Storm Bird we have received a copy of the Witness of the 15th instant, courteously furnished by Captain Mundle. The last escort brought down 7,800 ozs. from Tuakepa, 700 ozs. from VVaipuri, and 1,111 ozs. from Wuitahuna, the total being 9,611 ozs. The brig Yarrow, hence, arrived at Port Chalmers on the 13th iust. She had an extremely boisterous passage, and lost 25 head out of her shipment of caltie. Large numbers of passengers were leaving Otago for Coromandel diggings. , The Canterbury sailed for Auckland on the 13th instant, with 53 passengers, and several vessels had preceded her, crowded with passengers. The Lady Bird sailed from Otago for Melbourne on the 13th instant, with 825 ozs. 17 dwts. of gold, and a number of passengers.
