Ihe Wouga Wonga lefc here for Picton and Nelson on Saturday morning last, at half-past eight o'clock, carrying the Bisnop of Wellington, Areu. Hadfield, and several etber members of the Church of England Synod, to be held at Nelson. We are glad to learn that the W. S. N. Company has acted in the same liberal spirit with regard to the passage money of ihe members of the Synod, as the I.C. R.M. Cempany pursued when carrying the Scotch Ministers and others to Otago. The Wonga Wonga is expected back from Nelaon on Friday, and is to leave for Dunedin on Monday, 17th instant, calling at Lyttelton if inducement offers. The Storm Bird is expected here from Otago and Lyttehon on or about Thursday, and is to leave for Wanganui on Saturday, Islh iustaut. The American ship Mary Merrill, from Boston, U.S., arrived at Lyttelton on the 24th January, .with a full cargo of American goods consigned to her owners, Messrs. Taylor and Co.
