Tho English mail had not arrived at Otago up to hei leaving on the evening of the 21st inst, The last Escort arrived al Dunedin oc the 19th inst., bringing down 14,207 ounces of gold, The Omeo sailed from Port Chalmers for the Bluff, on the 19th inst., for the purpose of^conveying the passengers, mail, and golcrof the ill-fated Oscar on to Melbourne. >———_—_■_—_——
