Note. — The following Proclamation of Masterton as a Hundred, is extracted from the General Government Gazette, of 261h January, 1858, p. 4. PROCLAMATION. By his Excellency Colonel Thomas Gore Browne, Companion of the Most Honorable Order of the Bath, Governor and Com-mander-in-Chief in and over ber Majesty's Colony of New Zealand, and Vice-Admiral of the same, &c, &c, &c.
