Note. — The following Proclamation of Masterton as a Hundred, is extracted from the General Government Gazette, of 261h January, 1858, p. 4. PROCLAMATION. By his Excellency Colonel Thomas Gore Browne, Companion of the Most Honorable Order of the Bath, Governor and Com-mander-in-Chief in and over ber Majesty's Colony of New Zealand, and Vice-Admiral of the same, &c, &c, &c. WHEREAS by un Act of the General Assembly 1 of New Zealand passed in the Sessjon bolden in the nineteenth and twentiett ■ years of her Majesty,* No. 19, intituled "Tht Counties Act, 1856," it is enacted tliat it shai ,be lawful for the Governor on the recommendation of the Superintendent of any Province o the said Colony, from time to time by Prbcla mation to be published in the Government Ga zetie of the Colony, to constitute any poriion o such Province or County, Hundred ot Parish and tbat all such Counties, Hundreds, am Parishes, shall bavesucb designation and limit! as in and by the Proclamation constituting' tbt same -shall be prescribed. •Now, therefore, I, tbe Gorernor of New Zea land? on the recommendation of the Superin tendent of the Province of Wellington, do pro claim and declare, and I do hereby constitut
