Lord Herbert of Lea, the Duke of Buckingham, Admiral Pellew, General J. Swinburne, Sir J. Patterson, Prince Adam Ccesar Tovyski, and Elizabeth Barrett Browning. j The Late Auditor-General of New Zealand.— Sir Godfrey Thomas, Bart., step-brother of Sir George Grey, the newly appointed Governor of New Zealand, was Auditor-General in New Zealand during the late Government of Sir George there, died recently at his estate in Essex, at the age of 37 years.
