These Sheep'have been selected from the cele- I united 1 lock of Mr. J. F. Hoffschlaeger, of Weisin, in Mecklenburgh, who, desirous to extend the reimtatiou of his breed, already so well kuown and appreciated in Australia, has shipped some of the choicest specimens of his Flock to this Colony. Each particular Ram and Ewe, willbeaccompauied by a pedigree attesting the purity of the blood, and 1 it may be some recommendation to those intereat- * ed iv the growth and improvement of Wool, to add that the average produce of the flock, whence this selection is taken, is from 3J to 4 lbs. of clean, washed Wool from the Ewes, and from 7 to 8 lbs. from the rams, the quality of the fleece, the length, fineness and evenness of the staple, is such as to have obtained for a long period an average price of Bs. per lb. . The proceeds of the entertainment, after payment of expenses, are to go towards the liquidation of the debt remaining due upou the Hall.
