I^HE Undersigned beg to announoe that they have been advised of the shipment, iJper " Hermine," at Hamburg, of a flock consisting pf 80 Rams and 10 Ewes, of the true Negretti breed,' which has been consigned to v them for disposal in New Zealand. •■■•••.. ; : o These Sheep have been selected from the cele- . brated Flock of Mr. J. F. Hoffsohlaeger, oft Weisin, in Meoklenburgh, who, desirous to extend the reputation of his breed, alreaby bo well known: and ■ appreoiated in Australia, has shipped some! of; the, ohoioest specimens of his Flook to this Colony* Each particular Ram and Ewe, willbe accompanied by a pedigree attesting the purity of the blood, and it may be some recommendation to those interest-* ed in the growth and improvement of Wool, to add that the average produce of the flook, whence this seleotion is taken, is from Si to 4 lbs. of cleanwashed Wool from the Ewes, and from 7 to 8*lb&. from the rams, the quality of the fleece, the length, fineness and evenness of the staple, is suoh 88 to have obtained for- a long period an average price t>f Bs. perlb. . *.
