DEPOSITIONS IN NEWRT V. ATCHISON.

Besident Magistrate's Couft, Wellington, ]4th May, 1801. Frederick Atebison oharged with having «•<- --saulted James Newry on the 19th day of Api{l last at Wellington. ; : Mr. King appeared for complainant* Defendant pleads Not Guilt}, James Newry being sworn, states ;•— I am A labourer, and reside at Wellington/ .1 chargr the defendant with an assault on the I9lh April,' Defeudant came into, my residence in Wellington on Te Aro Flat.
