Judg. ment for amount and costs. Whitewood y Jones. — Debt £5 4s. Parties called, no appearance. Buck v Martyr.— Debt £l ss. Buck v Wintetiugham.—Debt 7s. 6d. Both these cases settled out of Court. Wellinoton. Thursday, Slst January, 1861. [Before B. A Feraud, Esq., R.M.] Edward Cahill, charged with druukenness. Fined 55., and ordered to pay ss. Bd. costs. Phillips v Phillips.— Defendant was charged with having deserted his wife and infant child and leaving them without means of support. Complainant, who is deaf and dumb, had to explain to tbe Court, by means of using the deaf and dumb alphabet ; and by writing down answers to questions that Vere shewn ber in writing. Complainaut's evidence was corroborated by ber mother. Defendant was ordered to pay 10s. a week for the support of his wife. Atchison v Eades.— Debt £5 15s. Ud. Judgment for amount.

Clark v Hurley. -Debt £18 3s. sd. Stands orer to the 7lh February. Bromley v Edwards. — Debt £8 6s. l£d. Withdrawn.
