Secketahy — Robert Kent. At a Meeting held this Evening, (17th January,) by adjournment from a preliminary meeting, held on the 12th instant. Gr. Hunter, Esq., in the Chair. It was proposed by Mr. T.;W. Pilcher, and seconded by Mr. F. K. Allen, " that the Anniversary Regatta consist of the following Sports," carried unanimously. i Ist Race. Cargo Boats, of any description, not exceeding 80 feet keel, over SO feet to allow half a minute per foot. Entrance— £l Is. First Prize £ •; second do. £ Sihlßace. Dingleß or Ship's Cutters, exceeding 22 feet keel, over 22 feet to alloY one minute per foot. Entrance— 4 (K, 6d. First Prize £ second do. £ '3rd Race. Whale Boat Race, 5 oars. Entrance— 10s. Sd. First Prize £ ; second do. £ 4th Race Four 'Oared Gigs. Entrance— l Ob. 6d. First Prize £ ; second do. £ sth Uace. Licensed Watermen's Boats, pair of sculls. Entrance—lOs. od. First Prize £ second do. £ KEGULATIONS— No person not a subscriber oPat least 108. 6d. to the Regatta Fund will be allowed to enter a boat for any race. No sliding keel boats will be allowed to enter. All racing boats shall keep the flag boats and other distinguishing murk on the port hand. All boats may cany any and what sail they please, but will not be allowed to use any oars, or throw ballast overboard after starting. Boats on the port tack to bear up for boats on the starboard tack. Boats running free to keep away for boats on a wind. Any boat willfully fouling another, to be considered distanced. A"ll sailing boats must have all 6ail on deck at the Cime of Che firing of the gun for starting-. The gun for starting will be fired precise!/ at the hour named. Disputes occurring in any race must 'be made known to tho Judges at the conclusion of the race. The decision of the Judges in all matters shall be final. In drawing for stations No. 1 will take choice, and the rest in rotation. Entrances for tho various races received by the Treasurer at the Coach and Horses, Hotel, until Monday, 21st instant, until 10 o'clock, p.m. Post Entrances at Messrs. Bathune & Hunter's Office, until J 0 o'clock, a.m., on Tuesday, 22nd January. No boat will be allowed to start uutil the entrance money is paid. : All entrance fees to be appropriated to Regatta purposes. No public money will be given unless two or more boats, the bona Jide property of separate owners, do start. The Prizes will be distributed at the " Coach and Horses" Hotel, on Tuesday, the 29th instant, at 8 o'clock in the evening. In all Sailing Matches two guns will be fired, the first to prepare, and the second to start. 18th January, 18(51.
