To allay the fever and lessen inflnm mation,. eight or ten Pills should he taken night, and morning. The Ointment will produce perspiration, the grand essential in all cases of fevers, sure J throats or where there might be an oppression of tbe ebest, either from asthma or otber causes. Piles, Fistulas, Strictures. The above class of complaints is surely removed liy r.iphtly fomenting the parts with warm water, -find. then by most effectually rubbing in the Ointment. It should be understood that it is not sufficient merely to smear tbe Ointment on the affected parts, but it muet be well rubbed in for 1 some considerable time two or tbree times a day, that it may be taken into the system whence it will remove any hidden sore of wound as effectually as though palpable to the eye. It will require time with the u&e of the Pills to ensure a lasting oure. Dropsical Swellings , Paralysis and Stiff Joints. Although the above complaints differ widely iv tbeir origin and i-ature, yet they all require local treatment. Many of the worst cases of sucb diseases wilj yield, in a comparatively short, space of time, when this Ointment is diligently rubbed into ibe parts affected, even after every other means bave failed.
