Departure of Wi Tako. — On Friday last, this chief, accompanied by a number of his followers, left the Hutt, and proceeded on their way to Waikanae. They remained at Johnsonville the same night, and resumed their journey the following day. Previous to Wi Tuko's departure from Johnsormlle,be forwarded the following letter to Mr. Baker, interpreter to the Resident Magistrate's Court : — Johnsonville, September 8, 1860. Fiuend Mn. Baker, — Salutations to you — farewell. I did not call to see you before leavingr on account of illness. Do not be sad on my account — Euough. From your friend, Wi Tako. To Mn. Baker.
