ORIGINAL CORRESPONDENCE.

(To the Editor of the Independent.)

Sir,—Your Correspondents "' Dot and Cany One," and A. B. C, having from time to time led your numerous readers to look for and expect a continuation of the result of their examination of the Radical Blue Book compiled uiidei the influence of the " business like man ncr" of Messrs. Ludlam and Welch, —I beg to ask permission to enquire whether they intend to coutinne their enquiry or not—for it is most undoubtedly exlvemely desirable that tbe public should be fully informed of the amount of blundering mistakes of that Book of Books, with a view to an application eitherfor a reprint of that record, or tbe publication of such an Eiratta as may enable its readers to ascertain what is really meant by its various statements.

If I rccoliect rightly, the last letter from A. B. C. said he had something near another score of mistakes already then discovered, a few of whicli he promised to furnish from time to time for the information of the public. Please allow me then to ask through the medium of the ptess, whether he lias forgotten his former promise to continue the result of his examination into the egregious inaccuracies produced by that " Business like manner"' wliich Mr. Stokes trumpetted forth in his usual bombastic style, or whether he may have been be induced to hold his peace under the expectation of some valuable appointment, through the powers which' might have been conferred upon the veritable Messrs. Lindsay, Allen, Carpenter, Stokes and Company had the wished for Injunction been obtained, or should the Rowdies succeed in realizing their hopes in a trial in the Supreme Count dtiriug the month of March ensuing. I am. Sir, Your obedient servant, X. Y. Z. February 24, 1850.
