CONDITIONS. QUALITIES OF THE SUPPLIES. Ist.—All tho Articles to bo of tho best quality of their several lands. Snd.—'.(.'he Flour to ho the produce of clean sound Colonial Wheat, from which 20 per cent, in bran lins been extracted. ;)rd.—-Tlie Bread to be made from flour ofthe same quality as described in tho prccoeding para•gruph, and to bo baked 2-1 hours before being issued in loaves of 2 lb each. 4lb.—The Fresh meat to lie issued daily, to be delivered in fore nnd hind quarters alternately, •wlieiittho quantity admits, of it. When Beef is issued, six 'inohca lo be cut of thu hough and nook hones. ■ Dili.—The mixed vegetables shall be supplied in ■ reasonable proportions of greens, onions, &o. Parties tendering are requested to observe that llie most rigid adheriince to theso conditions will be invariably enforced. * MODE OF DELIVERY. 'Oth;—No part whatever of the supplies above spocilied shall bo received, in charge of the Commissnriiit, but shall lie dclivorcd by the Contractor direct to the persons entitled thereto nt any place within the limits of Wellington and Wanganui, upon llio written order of the Commissariat Officer in charge, or of any person authorised by him for that purpose: GENERAL CONDITIONS. :7ib—Each tender sont in, in conscqueiico of this -Advertisement to be accompanied by a statement signed by two competent persons, expressing tboir readiness, in the event of such tender being aocoptcd, to become security for its duo performance. The penally of the bond to ho given will bo equal to tho estimated amount of three months supply, and it is loho understood that the sureties will bo hold strictly responsible for the fulfilment of the Contractor's engagements, any failure iv which will be immediately followed by the enforce ment of tho penalty of tho Bond. "Bth—Separata tenders will ho received for supplying either of tho abovo mentioned districts.
