TESTIMONIAL TO QUARTER MASTER WITHERS.
We Copy the following from the Spectator, of Wednesday, not only because we feel it our duty to give publicity u> -the honor in which Mr. Withers is hold, hilt as an illustration of the many ways in which wa shall miss the now departing 05th. We tkke the opportunity of adducing, our testimony to the ability and untiring- zeal with which the .Choir" lias been maintained. Rorivirkable fur the drvotional character of its inasic, and the evangelical doctrine of its minister, it is not to be wondered at that 'St. Peters should lie well attended. Whoever may. succeed Mr. Withers we sincerely hopt that the simplicity of tho Music hitherto so admirably preserved, will still be adhered to, and that devotion; not display, will continue to be the aim of its excellent Choir.
