AiuTEun Chobal Socnm-.— This society gave a very excellent performance of Sacred Music at the Attiensum on Tuesday last. Owing , to tlie doubtful state of ihe weatl er we ure sorry to say the attendance was far from good. It is much to be regretted that the two concerts given by this admirable society have taken place on very unfavourable erenings. We sincerely hope that the members will iiot be discouraged, almost every useful Society has met with discouragement at its commencement and we believe that ere long the efforts of the talented and earnest performers will be crowned with the very great success they deserve. Pkilirmonic Concert.—The Philarraonic Society ;ave the second concert of the season on Thursday evening last. The evening being fine and beautifully moulight, the Llyceum was crowded and the performances were more than usually good. Mr. Byngs exertions deserve the warmest praise and the violin solos by Mr. Smith fully sustained that gentlemriis reputa - tion. A lady sang two songs most charmingly and altogether the concert of Thursday was the most successful one yet given,
Royal Lyceum Theatre.—We have been requested to state that Mr. Lee intends hiking , a Benefit at the above Theatre on Thursday next, the 29th Inst, when the operatic Drama of "Rob Boy," with the original Scenery, Dresses, &c, is to be produced.
