DONT SPLIT YOUR VOTES.
Beware of the Rowdy attempt to persuade you to split your votes. V"ote : boldl) for Featherston and Rhodes. The Rowdies won't split with you—don't you split, with them. ' ' ".
Remember that all the evils which Wellington has suffered from .the General Assembly, hare been owing to her members being divided. In the first session, we lost the seat of Governmenc beoause Gibbon Wakefield played the traitor. In the 4th session, we lost- that and much more because Ludlaro, Bell, and Smith followed this Judas' example, and exhibited Wellington with 5 members on one side of the House, and 3 on the other.
Now, if you send Wakefield or Bowler, you send the certain materials for disunion in your own party. A house divided against itself cannot stand. The Hutt, tho Country Districts, and the Wairarapa are sure.to send .Constitutionalists—Fox and Clifford, are.'in already. If you send Featherston and Rhodes you will have eight united members, whose joint force will make Wellington formidable. If you send Bowler and Wake • field, you send.them to create disunion, and to make Wellington equally feeble and contemptible.
