Saturday last, the 24th Instant, being the annivresary of the birth-day of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, was observed as a holiday; the various public offices being closed in honor of the occasion. The 6oth Regt.tyas reviewed at Thorndon by Col. M'Cleverty, and went through the various {(military evolutions in a well disciplined and soldier-like manner. At 12 o'clock, a, feu ds joie was fired by the troops. 'At one o'clock, His Excellency the Governor-m-Chief held v Levee, which was numerously attended.
