NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Partnership hitherto subsisting between Us, the Undersigned Alfred Ifornbrook and George Comptou, carrying on business together as Innkeepers at Lyltelton, in the Colony of New Zealand, under the style or Firm of " IToitxni?ooK and Comvton" was this day dissolved by mutual consent, And that all debts owing to or by the said firm, will be received and paid by the said George Compton, by whom the business in future will be carried on. He is open to receive Commissions either in Wellington or from the neighbouring Colonies ; the principles of his business are simply these—he has abolished that grievance to buyers, namely, Lot Money ; he proposes to render prompt Account Snles, and, as promptly, to hand over the Cash or Bills according to the terms of sale. Catalogues will invariably be printed, containing an exact list carefully Lotted of all the Goods Mr. Alien may have for sale. Mr. A. proposes to select one day in each week, and thinking that Tuesday would bo the most convenient one, he has fixed upon that day. On Tuesday, therefore a Sale in every week, should the weather not be too boisterous, will be effected by him, at the Stores of Mr.W. F. Ciimstian, on Lambton Quay Mr. Ali.en is also at liberty, when not engaged witli the Sales at the Stores, to act as Auctioneer for Land, Cattle, Houses, Furniture, or any other description of Property which may be offered to him by his patrons.
