Ist.—All the articles to be of tin,- best quality of their several kinds. 2nd.—The Flour to be the produce of clean sound Colonial Wheat, from which 20 per cent, in brnn has been extracted. 3rd.—The Broad to be made from Flour of the same quality as described in tlie preceding paragraph, and to be baked IJ4 hours before being issued, in loaves 2 lbs. each. -Ith. —Tbe Fresh Ment to lie issued daily, to be delivered in fine nnd hind quarters alternately, when the quantity admits of it. When Beef is issued, six indies to be cut oil the hough and neck bones. sth. —The Mixed Vegetables for the Hospitals nnd other Establishments entitled thereto, sbnll be supplied in -reasonable proportions of -Greens, Onions, &c. . Oth.—Thi Firewood to bo exclusively of Manuka, Hata, or other hard wood, well seasoned, split and cut into lengths of four feet. General Conditions. Bth.—Each Tender sent in, in consequence of this Advertisement, to be accompanied by a statement signed by two competent Persons, expressing their readiness; in the event of such Tender being accepted, to become security for its due performance.' The Tenuity of the Bond to bs given will be equal to the estimated Amount of ThreeMonths' Supplies. This Stock to'be at all times subject to the inspection of the Commissariat, and nil wood objected lo at such inspection must be immediately removed. 10th.—Sopnrnte Tenders will'be received forsupplying any ofthe above mentioned Districts. 11 th.—Tenders for the Supplies required at Wellington, Wanganui, and the District of Porirun, as above specified, may be sent in for the whole or any portion of them.excepting those under the: head or Hospitals, which must in ench case be included in one Tender. And the same Regulation will apply to those for Ships of War. No Tender will be required for supplying Firewood at Wanganui. The engagement for this service will bo entered into with tho Commissariat Ollicer at that Tost. 12tli.—The Contractor to prepare his own Account I according to the prescribed form, and on the production thereof nt this Oilice, with the requisite Vouchers, in a complete state, will receive payment Monthly, by a Bill or Bills upon the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury, at par, when the Amount is Fifty Pounds or upwards ; when under that amount, payment will be made in Cnshl" , JStb.—ln the event of any Article offered being objected to as not complying with these conditions', it will be submitted lo a Board of, Officers, to be appointed by tbe Officer Commanding the Troops. If condemned by the Board, and'the Contractor shall not immediately furnish an unobjectionable article ialieu of the one rejected, the Commis* flaring Officer may »ither cause the same to be supplied at the Contractor's expense, or forthwith enforce the penalty of the Bond. l-ltb.—lt shall be in the power of either parly to limit the duration of the Contrnot.by giving in writing a notice of Three Calendar Months to the other party, nud to end tbe Contract at the expiration of that period, it being understood that such notice can be given only from the first day of a month and within the period for which the Contract-is made or-agreed to be made.
