We arc unavoidably compelled to omil the report of (he proceedings of the Settlers' Constitutional Association of Thursday evening Inst, from want of space. A public meeting took place at Barrett's Hotel, last evening, for the purpose of electing a Committee to carry out the general arrangements of the Ninth Anniversary Fete. The Meeting was very numerously and respectably attended. Dr. Dorset was called to the Chair. A Committee was formed, and subscriptions cntorod into. A mooting of Subscribers to the Fete Fund is called for Monday evening next, at Mr. W. Allen's, to appoint officers and Bub-comuutto«s.
