Sir,— There being a 'hubbub amongst tie Bakers at the present time, and the price of the two pound loaf having been grsailv lowered during the lasfefew days, allow me to make A few "remarks on this subject; It is itnportaut that the public should b.- cautioned,,for it is a matter of notoriety,' that a large quantity of bread is sold under weight. Now, it is all very well bikers professing to sell cheap, when their bread is two or three ounces less'weight than it ought to be. However, as I see by your paper that the Governor intends passing a •« Weights and Measure Act," this evil will shortly be remedied ; but inthexneantime.
