Ewbank, if. Cordeaux, W. Maynard, and Dr. Byrth, of the Established Church.; Eev. J. Tod Brown, of the Church of Scotland; Rev. J. R. Welsh, of the Free Church; Rev. G. Osborn, Wesleym; Rev. C. M. Birell and J. Lister, Baptists; Eev. Dr. Raffles, J. Kelly, and W. Beran, Independents. —Several of the same speakers addressed the meeting at the Commercial Hall, and, in addition, the Rev. Donald Ferguson, of the Free Church, and Dr. Crighton, Scotch Secession. Tha proceedings were characterised by great harmony and enthusiasm. Meetings with the same object have also been held in Dublin, Belfast, Aberdeen, and other places, with most satisfactory results ; and a great Central Meeting is projected to be held in the Metropolis early in the next year.—Staffordshire Advertiser, December 27.
