AlVthe Articles to be of the bestqualiy of the several kinds. 2nd. The Flour to hi the produce of clean sound Colonial Wheat, from wLich 2i) per cent, in braa has been extracted. 3rd, Theßred ta be made from Flour of the same quiiiry as described in the preceding paragraph. and to be bnked 21 hours before bemg issued, in loaves of 2 fb e«ch. 4th. The Fresh Meat to be issued daily, and to consist of Bet( and Mutton, in equal jroporiions, to be delivered in fore and hind quaneis alternateiy, when the quantity admits of it. The mixed Vegetables for the Hospitals and other establishments entitled thereto, shall be supplied in reasonable proportions of Greens, Oniocs, &c. 6th. No part whatever of the Supplies above specified, bhall be lectfived in charge of the Commissariat, but shall be delivered by the Contractor direct, and at his expose, to the persons entitled thereto, at any place within the limits of the Town, upon the written order of the Commissariat Officer in charge, or of any person authorised by him for that purpose. GENERAL CONDITIONS. Bth. Each Tender sent in, in consequence of this Advertisement, to be accompanied by a statement, signed by two competent persons, and expressing their readiness, in the eyenj of such Tender being accepted, to become security for the due ptrformance of the Contract, whica will then be entered into. The penalty of the bond to be equal to the estimated amount of two months supplies, and no supplies will be received until the bond has been duly executed. 9th. Tenders for the Supplies required at Wellington, may be sent in either for the whole or any portion of them, excepting those under the head of Hospitals, which must all be included in One Tender. All the Aiticles required at the River Uutt, must aho bs included in One lender. 10th. The Contractor to prepare his own account according to the prescribed form, for the amount of which he will be furnished with a Certificate bj the Undersigned, and on the production thereof at the Commissariat Office, at Auckland, he thall receive payment monthly, by a' Bill upon the Lords Commissioners of her Majesty's Treasury, at par, when the amount is Fifty Pounds or upwards ; when under that amount, payment will be there made in cash. 11th. In the event of any article offered being objected to, as not agreeing with these conditions, it will be submitted to a Board of Officers, to be appointed by the Officer commanding the Troops, and if rejected by the Board, it will be replaced by the Commissariat Officer, and charged against the Contractor! in the event of his neglecting to do so when required. 12th. It shall be in the power of either party to limit the duration of the Contract by giving in writing a notice of three calendar months, to the other party, and to end the Contact at the expiration of that period, it being under-
