Hohart Towq pipers to the 22nd ultim-j have come to hand yesterday. Their contents me uninteresting, except to the local reader. No appointments to thejacant seats in the Legislative Council had been made; although it appeared to be the general opinion that the recent Act by which the police and gaols are to he made a charge upon the land revenue will relieve, in a material degree, the local executive from the difficulties under which it has been labouring. We subjoin the latest market prices :— New Wharf, Market, Hobart Towk — Wheat, 4s, to4s. 9 J. per bu hel; oats, 3s. to 3s. 6d. per bushel; Cape barley, 3s.
