BAY OF ISLANDS.
We understand it is acertained that nine hundred and thirty natives were engaged in the attack on the 11th March; and that one hundred and twenty were killed, and have died of their wounds since. It is therefore very evident that great execution was done, and the information necessarily increases confidence jn the issue of any contest which may now take place at the Bay, here, or elspvvhere in New Zealand possessed of a properly trained and armed force.
